I'm Stuart Bailey, a property photographer in London, I specialise in creating professional images for interior designers, property developers, prime real estate agents, investors, and architects. My work covers property, interiors, and architectural photography across London, as well as projects throughout Berkshire and Surrey.
Over the years, I’ve photographed an extensive range of prime & super prime properties and interior spaces around the world – from luxury homes in the Wentworth Estate and premium airline lounges in New York and London, to high-end retail spaces and jewellery stores as far afield as Brazil. No matter the setting, my goal is always the same: to capture the character, atmosphere, and design of a space with clarity and honesty.
My style is clean, crisp, vibrant, and above all natural. As an interiors photographer in London, I rely heavily on natural light wherever possible, allowing the viewer to see how daylight genuinely interacts with a room. When additional lighting is needed, I use top-tier professional equipment to ensure every image feels refined, balanced, and true to life. HOW TO BOOK ME:
Simply drop me an email (contact@stuartbaileyphoto.com), text, WhatsApp, or give me a call (07762 900 132).
Please contact me at least 2 days before the date you’re looking to shoot. - The more notice the better though.
WHAT HAPPENS ON A PROPERTY SHOOT:
Please have the property as clean and tidy as possible before my arrival.
Once I arrive I’ll start by checking each room to see if anything needs a final straightening up.
Then I’ll proceed with taking all the wide angle interior shots of each room. I’ll take around 3 - 5 wide angle photos per room depending on the size and setup of the space.
After all the wide angle interior shots are taken of each room, I’ll switch a lens and capture some closer up detail shots of any areas of interest of the property, or anything that particularly inspires me.
I’ll then put back anything that I moved out the way for the photos and pack up my equipment.
The shoot part is then complete.
HOW LONG DOES AN INTERIORS PHOTO SHOOT TAKE?
Average timings per shoot:
Up to 2 hours on average for most small apartments.
Up to 3 hours for an average family 3 bed home.
Up to 4 hours for a luxury home 5-6 bedrooms
Up to 6 hours for a large luxury property 6 bed and up.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE SHOOT?
Once I’m back in the office, I’ll start to edit the photos.
This is where I add a colour grade to the images, straighten the walls that may be warped by the wide angle camera lens, adjust the exposure, shadows, and highlights etc.
More goes into the editing of property and interior photos than one might think. - So on average, for every 1 hour I’m physically there photographing, it takes around 3 hours to edit the photos.
Once the photos are edited (usually within 3 days), I’ll send a DropBox or WeTransfer link to all the photos I took, which will already be edited for you to make your selections. - (These will all have a watermark on them).
You’ll then select the photos you’d like by emailing me a list of the file names of the images you’d like. - For example: CR3_1234.jpg, CR3_5678.jpg, and so on.
Note: Please let me know your selections within 2 days of me sending them to you.
Once you've let me know your selections, I'll then send you the high resolution versions without a watermark for you to use instantly to market the property.
I'll then send the invoice to you which will need to be paid within 30 days.
HOW MUCH DOES A RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY PHOTO SHOOT COST?

Professional Property Photography in London
I photograph residential and commercial properties across London for businesses, property professionals, developers, designers and marketing agencies. My approach is to create clean, carefully composed photographs that show both the overall space and the details that give a property its individual character.
Professional property photography can be used across websites, property marketing, advertising, PR, brochures, social media and other marketing materials. Before each shoot, I like to understand how the photographs will be used so I can create a varied collection of images suited to different formats.
Capturing Interiors and Exteriors
A strong property photography collection should give viewers a clear sense of the complete space.
For interiors, I consider composition, available light, architectural features, furniture and the relationship between different areas of the property. Wide photographs help establish the space, while closer images can highlight materials, finishes and design details.
Exterior photography requires a different approach. The position of the sun, weather conditions and time of day can significantly change the appearance of a building.
Where a project requires both interior and exterior photography, I can plan the shoot around the available light so each area is photographed at an appropriate point during the day.

Preparing a Property for Photography
Good preparation can make a significant difference to the final photographs.
Before the shoot, I recommend making sure rooms are clean and organised and removing unnecessary items that could distract from the space. Where appropriate, furniture, lighting and smaller details can be adjusted to improve the composition.
For commercial spaces, it is also worth considering whether the property should be photographed empty or while people are using it. This depends on what the images need to communicate.
I'll discuss these requirements with you before the shoot so we can make the best use of the time available on location.
When Is the Best Time to Photograph a Property?
There isn't one time of day that works for every property.
The direction a building faces, the position of its windows and the surrounding environment can all influence when the light will be most suitable.
Some interiors benefit from softer daylight, while exterior photography may look better when direct sunlight reaches a particular elevation. Certain properties can also benefit from photography later in the day when interior and exterior lighting can be balanced.
For larger projects, I can consider these factors when planning the photography schedule.
