Retail Photographer in London
I’m Stuart Bailey, an experienced retail photographer in London specialising in high-quality stills photography content for brands that want their stores, activations and retail environments captured with precision and purpose. My work spans everything from flagship launches and window displays to experiential marketing campaigns and large-scale popup activations across the capital.
I’ve created retail imagery for global names such as Adidas, Skims, Dunelm, Galia Lahav, Gisou, Herschel Supply Co. and Lego, as well as British Airways and many others.
Whether I’m producing refined interior photography, detailed merchandising shots or authentic customer-focused moments, my approach is rooted in accuracy and consistency keeping everything as true to colour as possible while bringing a strong understanding of brand identity and in-store storytelling to every project.

Retail Brand Activations & Popups
I regularly photograph brand activations and pop-ups in London, capturing the energy, design and atmosphere that bring each concept to life.
From immersive experiences and PR-driven launches to interactive installations and limited-time retail events, I focus on documenting the details that matter: the environment, the customer journey, the key campaign moments and the overall brand presence.
My approach blends clean, polished visuals with natural storytelling, ensuring the final imagery works for press, social media, digital campaigns and internal use.
Whether the activation is a high-traffic street pop-up like in Covent Garden, or an in-store takeover or a multi-day experiential event, I work closely with creative teams to ensure the photography reflects the intention behind the campaign and provides strong coverage from start to finish.

Working with Retail Designers
A key part of my work involves collaborating with retail designers, agencies and visual merchandising teams. I’m passionate about retail design and the craft that goes into creating environments that draw people in and guide them through a brand’s world.
I understand the importance of material choices, lighting, layout, sightlines and spatial flow, and I photograph these details in a way that highlights the designer’s intent.
Whether documenting concept stores, new store designs, refits or pop-up spaces, my aim is always to show the design thinking, craftsmanship and atmosphere that make each space unique.
Meet your Retail Photographer
STUART BAILEY
Great to meet you!
I've been photographing retail spaces since 2015 when I was an in-house photographer at British Airways. There I photographed the airline lounges and retail stores around the airports as well as multiple brand activations throughout each month and digital screens.
I've been freelance since December 2019 photographing in the retail sector for many brands and agencies all around London, the rest of the UK and around the globe. - Some of which include: Adidas for IMA, Skims, Giorgio Armani, Huda Beauty for Design 4 Retail, Dunelm, Herschel, ETRO, Stanley for IPOS, Gisou, OFFICE Shoes, Gucci for Kering, and many more.

Retail Photography in Airports
A good share of my portfolio focuses on airport retail. I have extensive experience photographing retail interiors at Heathrow, Gatwick and London City Airport, and I’m fully familiar with the operational procedures required to work smoothly both airside and landside.
Navigating front and back of house efficiently allows me to meet tight schedules and deliver polished imagery in demanding environments.
