Professional Retail Photography in London
I’m Stuart Bailey, an experienced retail photographer in London specialising in high-quality stills photography content for brands that want their stores, activations and retail environments captured with precision and purpose.
I’ve created retail imagery for global names such as Adidas, Skims, Dunelm, Galia Lahav, Gisou, Herschel Supply Co. and Lego, as well as British Airways and many others.
I photograph retail spaces, flagship stores, shop openings, brand activations and commercial interiors across London and the UK. My aim is to create professional imagery that captures the design, atmosphere and individual character of each space while presenting the brand exactly as intended.
From wide interior photographs that show the complete environment to carefully composed details, displays and customer experiences, each shoot is planned around how the final images will be used. Photography can be created for websites, PR, advertising, social media, press coverage, property portfolios and wider marketing campaigns.

Retail Photography for Brands, Designers and Agencies
I work with brands, retailers, designers, architects, high-traffic street pop-up like in Covent Garden and creative agencies to produce photography that supports both immediate campaigns and longer term marketing requirements.
From immersive experiences and PR-driven launches to interactive installations and limited-time retail events, I focus on documenting the details that matter: the environment, the customer journey, the key campaign moments and the overall brand presence.
Every brief is different. Some clients need polished photographs of a completed retail interior, while others require imagery from a new store opening, installation or brand activation. Understanding how and where the photographs will be used helps me plan the composition, orientation and variety of images required.
For marketing teams, I can create a mixture of wide photographs, closer details and vertical and horizontal compositions so the final collection can work across websites, PR, social media, advertising and editorial coverage.
If your retail project forms part of a wider campaign, I can also provide commercial photography and event photography to create a consistent set of imagery across the project.

Working with Retail Designers
A key part of my work involves collaborating with retail designers, agencies and visual merchandising teams. I’m passionate about retail design and the craft that goes into creating environments that draw people in and guide them through a brand’s world.
I understand the importance of material choices, lighting, layout, sightlines and spatial flow, and I photograph these details in a way that highlights the designer’s intent.
Whether documenting concept stores, new store designs, refits or pop-up spaces, my aim is always to show the design thinking, craftsmanship and atmosphere that make each space unique.
For new store openings and brand activations, photography can also document key moments, guests and the atmosphere surrounding the launch. This gives marketing and PR teams a broader collection of images that can be used across multiple channels rather than simply providing photographs of an empty interior.
Meet your Retail Photographer
STUART BAILEY
Great to meet you!
I've been photographing retail spaces since 2015 when I was an in-house photographer at British Airways. There I photographed the airline lounges and retail stores around the airports as well as multiple brand activations throughout each month and digital screens.
I've been freelance since December 2019 photographing in the retail sector for many brands and agencies all around London, the rest of the UK and around the globe. - Some of which include: Adidas for IMA, Skims, Giorgio Armani, Huda Beauty for Design 4 Retail, Dunelm, Herschel, ETRO, Stanley for IPOS, Gisou, OFFICE Shoes, Gucci for Kering, and many more.

Retail Photography in Airports
A good share of my portfolio focuses on airport retail. I have extensive experience photographing retail interiors at Heathrow, Gatwick and London City Airport, and I’m fully familiar with the operational procedures required to work smoothly both airside and landside.
Navigating front and back of house efficiently allows me to meet tight schedules and deliver polished imagery in demanding environments.
