Watch Photography during Lockdown

Updated: May 16, 2020

Since being in lockdown because of coronavirus here in the UK, I've had to pivot and change my commercial, advertising, and lifestyle photography business into something I can do at home.

I'm used to photographing people, aircraft, and trains mostly.

Sometimes I have a photography crew with me, an art director, models, and a few brands people from the client side too.

However, due to COVID-19 and us all being in lockdown, that just hasn't been possible!

So I've been photographing products, and more specifically watches.

I've been a huge fan of watches from around the age of 16 when my Mum bought my Dad his first Omega Seamaster for their silver wedding anniversary!

So now because of lockdown, I thought it would be a great opportunity to learn a new skill. So I borrowed a few watches from my friends and family to shoot and teach myself the art of watch photography!

Here are a few of the results so far...

Would love to know what you think?

Also if anyone has any contacts in the watch world on the branding and marketing side of things then drop me an email or give me a call to see if there's something we could potential set up!

More watch photography coming very soon. "Watch" this space!!

Great watch photographs Stuart. Really like the black face Omega on it’s side shot.

Fantastic!
